Grafiche Tassotti is part of this selection of iconic "everyday" objects, a tribute to Bruno Munari's words defining objects worthy of the "Compasso d'Oro a ignoti" award: “Even before the term 'design' was used to define a production of objects that respond to necessary functions, such objects were already in production and continue to be made. They are everyday objects in homes and workplaces, and people buy them because they transcend trends, have no class symbols, and are well-designed, regardless of the maker. This is true design”.
From November 1st to December 31st, at the Triennale Milano store – temple of "good design" – Fattobene aims to highlight everyday objects that have won over millions of consumers over time, becoming part of the collective imagination. These seemingly simple objects hold a design lesson within them: beautiful, functional, and durable, they are examples of effective design and are therefore iconic and timeless.
Grafiche Tassotti, an internationally recognized printing house in Bassano, will participate with a selection of products: pencils, notebooks, and prints, true style icons for paper lovers. Among these are notebooks decorated with Remondini patterns, such as the "Remondini Triangoli" motif, taken from a 1760 woodcut engraved at the ancient Remondini printworks and preserved in the Tassotti collection and still striking for its modernity.
Tassotti, which crafts all its products entirely by hand at its headquarters in Bassano del Grappa, "well-made" with attention to detail and a love for paper, is a unique example of Italian craftsmanship, good taste, and passion.
