Tassotti Paper, the Muse Behind Unforgettable Stories

Once again, Tassotti paper takes on the silent role of protagonist in great stories. In the recent film 'La vita accanto' (literally translated as "The Life Beside"), the mother of the protagonist, Rebecca, keeps her deepest secrets in a precious diary covered in our 'Armonia' paper, a pattern that evokes a delicate and refined atmosphere. A small detail with great significance, a touch of authenticity that fills us with pride.
But the bond between Tassotti paper and the world of writing goes far beyond the big screen. Mariapia Veladiano, author of the novel on which the film is based, reveals her deep connection to Tassotti notebooks: "I write my novels mostly on paper, using a fountain pen. [...] When I am starting to write a new novel, I go to Carteria Tassotti and get a notebook and a folder with the same design. Something that recalls the story."

For Mariapia Veladiano, the choice of paper is not accidental. Each Tassotti notebook, with its unique patterns and quality, becomes a travel companion, a container of emotions, and an inspiration to bring her stories to life.

Here's what Mariapia Veladiano wrote to us:

"I write my novels mostly on paper, using a fountain pen. It's not a pose or an affectation. I've always used a fountain pen because I find it soft and beautiful and it gives me time to let my thoughts flow. And I use paper because it's ancient, beautiful, and precious. I came across Tassotti notebooks from the first novel and I don't really remember how. But it was wonderful to be able to choose from different papers that speak to the noblest part of us, and maybe we don't even know it.

When I am starting to write a new novel, I go to Carteria Tassotti and get a notebook and a folder with the same design. Something that recalls the story. In the notebook, I write. Notes, ideas, newly collected images. In the folder, I put the sheets I write elsewhere if I'm not at home and I don't have my Tassotti notebooks with me (post-its, notepads, everything) and in the portfolio, I put the printed documents, what I need to study the theme of the novel and to be precise about terms and historical data.

It's wonderful. There's a Tassotti paper for every emotion, every idea of a story.
